Shihan Robert Ramage 6th Dan

I was the smallest in my class so as you can imagine I was an
easy target all the way through my school years. After my 16th
birthday, I decided to do something about it because I was
determined not to be bullied my whole life. I heard about a
karate club in Falkirk run by Colin Elder, so I decided to join
and one of my mates joined with me. I soon built up my
confidence and was enjoying life with new mates and a real goal
in life. It was there I met John Scott and when we were high
enough grades, we moved onto bigger and better things. We wanted
more out of martial arts and that is when we met Hanshi Mark
Kemp in Cornwall. After a while we were asked if we wanted to
join the Shin-Ga-Do and I haven't looked back since. I now run a
club with new members joining from time to time, get to go on
courses and be respected and also respect other fellow martial
artists.
When I started up the martial arts I never in my wildest dreams
expected to get to where I am today.
Thanks to everyone in Shin-Ga-Do who has helped me reach this
goal.
